Maria graduated from Kings College London, University of London with an LL.B (Hons) degree in Law and subsequently obtained a Masters Degree (MSc) in Law and Accounting from the London School of Economics & Political Sciences specialising on legal aspects of corporate finance and capital markets law and regulation. She started her career at the Law offices of Andreas Neocleous & Co and then spent 4 years at the Association of Cyprus Commercial Banks as a Legal Officer. Then she worked for a multinational Group of Companies as an internal legal advisor and subsequently joined Kommunalkredit International Bank Ltd where she spent 4 years as a Senior Manager and Head of the Legal Department’s Capital Markets Desk. She is now an Advocate / Partner at KPK Legal of which she is one of the founding partners.
